2019年最想參加的活動
再過幾天，將要出發，離開香港一年，很多朋友都來不及見面、很多餐廳都來不及吃、很多有意義又有趣的活動將會缺席。而最捨不得的一定是家裡兩隻喵咪怪獸，特別是這隻黃色的野喵，全家人都曾被她咬到流血，兇到我媽常說要丟掉她；不咬人時，可愛到爆燈，真讓人又愛又恨啊！
其實我並沒有很喜歡動物，只喜歡「寵物」(還有河馬)，不是特別喜歡其他的動物 (包括人類)。以前我把「我」看得太重要了，以為「我」會講人類的語言、會為世界創造更多的東西，而覺得你們是次等的，可以吃的、用的、娛樂的… 但我現在知道了，我跟其他的動物都一樣，會呼吸、會開心、會害怕、會痛、會表達，也共同分享著這世界的所有資源，只是我們的溝通方式不太一樣，因為我們是不同種類的動物啊，我們彼此都聽不懂對方的「語言」，所以更應該要尊重你們的存在而不是傷害啊~
2019年6月2號的「動物權紀念日」是我今年最想參加的活動，這是一個全球性的活動，全球二十多個城市一同舉辦，包括香港、台北、高雄、北京、倫敦、巴塞隆納、舊金山、拉斯維加斯、洛杉磯、華盛頓、紐約、西雅圖、多倫多等等。一同賦予動物發聲的機會，提高動物權益意識！
In a few days, I will leave Hong Kong for a year. Many of my friends have no time to meet, many restaurants have no time to eat, and many meaningful and interesting activities will be absent. I will definitely miss the two monster cats, especially this yellow wild one. The whole family had been bitten by her to bleed. My mother often said that she would throw her away; when she was not biting, she was cute. We both love and hate her at the same time!
In fact, I don’t like animals very much. I only like “pets" (and hippos). I don’t particularly like other animals (including humans). I used to think that “I" was too important. I thought that “I" would speak the language of mankind and create more things for the world. So other non-humans are inferior which can be eaten, used, and entertained. But now I realize, I am like other animals, we will breathe, happy, afraid, hurt, express, and we will share all the resources of this world, but our communication is not the same because we are different kinds of animals. We don’t understand each other’s “language", so we should respect your existence instead of hurting~
The “National Animal Rights Day" on June 2, 2019 is the event I really want to participate in this year. This is a global event held in more than 20 cities around the world, including Hong Kong, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Beijing, London, Barcelona, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Washington, New York, Seattle, Toronto, and more. Together, give animals the opportunity to speak and raise awareness of animal rights!
