一般牙膏都含有「氟化物」，而各人對於「氟」的理解不盡相同，好壞參半。而很多人以為起了越多泡泡的牙膏，才能刷得越乾淨，其實這是大大的誤解啊！牙齒刷的是否乾淨與牙膏起泡並沒有關係，重點是刷牙動作是否正確，而不在於牙膏的泡泡量。

Toothpaste generally contains “fluoride", and everyone’s understanding of “fluorine" is different. Many people think that the more bubbles of toothpaste, your teeth will get cleaner, in fact this is a big misunderstanding! Whether the tooth is clean has nothing to do with the foaming of the toothpaste. The focus is on whether the brushing action is correct, not the amount of bubbles in the toothpaste.

大概一年半前，我開始轉用這種「無泡沫」、「無氟」的牙膏，剛開始是用台灣品牌「里仁天然無泡沫牙膏」(香港台灣都可以買到)，來到加國後我就選用了這邊的牌子 – The Green Beaven，而且還無動物測試。

About a year and a half ago, I started to switch to this “bubble-free" and “fluorine-free" toothpaste. At first, I used the Taiwanese brand “Liren Natural Foam-Free Toothpaste" (both available in Hong Kong and Taiwan). Then I chose the brand-The Green Beaven after came to Canada, there is no animal test too.

剛開始使用無泡沫牙膏時，其實是有點不習慣的，但現在我已經回不去了，由其The Green Beaven這牌子，很多不同口味，都很清新、清爽，更不用擔心每天因為刷牙，會吸收到有害的化學物品了！ (氟被世界衛生組織等國際機構列入「人體可能必需，但有潛在毒性的微量元素」)

When I first started using Fluoride-Free, toothpaste, it was actually a bit not get used to it, but now I can’t go back. The brand “The Green Beaven” has a lot of different flavors, which are very fresh and refreshing. I don’t need to worry about absorbing harmful chemicals by brushing my teeth every day! (Fluorine is listed as “a trace element that may be necessary but potentially toxic to the human body" by the World Health Organization)
